You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Happy Spring

Well, Spring has officially "sprung". I like the winter. Probably wouldn't like it so much if I lived where it really got cold and stayed that way for a long time. The winter is my favorite time here in the desert. But, I'm also glad to welcome Spring. We've already had 83º weather but today it's just in the 60s. With the changing of the seasons I'm reminded of what a great idea it was when God created the world and everything in it. And not just the world, but the whole universe. I know. It's hard to wrap your mind around it. At least I know it is for me, but I do believe it. Thank you God for the Springtime.

This is a good time to start linking inspirational posts. Thank you for sharing in that.

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth - Acts 1:8 (Amplified Bible)

  1. Greetings Charlotte - Yes, the greatness of God's creation is awe inspiring. We used to sing a song - He's Got the Whole World in His Hands. I still love it.
    Blessings to you,

  2. Thanks, Gail. I love that song too. Thank you for your loyal support of Spiritual Sundays.

  3. Winter is not my favourite here in New England. As I type this at almost 7 on Saturday morning snow has fallen and though it is very light and will melt off of my car in a few hours it's sort of discouraging. I want to see daffodils along the rocky walls.

  4. Yes, spring has come. Some days, I can hear it in the birds chirping and then yesterday, I woke to snow on the ground :) All by God's doing to remind us of Him each day. Blessings!

  5. "For behold, the winter is past, The rain is over, it is gone:
The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing is come, And the voice of the turtle-dove is heard in our land; The fig-tree melloweth her winter figs ...", Song of Solomon 2:11-13
