You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome Back Again

First of all, thank you for the kind comments last week. It's still hard to believe we've been married 60 years. I can remember when I thought anyone reaching their 50th was really really old. It's amazing how the older you get your perspective changes. Yes. I'm really old but I don't feel really old (except when I start to stand up after sitting for awhile. LOL And even then I realize it is a physical thing. The older I get the more I realize that the body ages but the spirit does not. I think that is amazing.

So now it's time to start linking again.

  1. Grateful, Charlotte, for your youthful spirit!

  2. Old! Nonsense, it is obvious from your posts that you are a young at heart full of fun woman.

  3. Grateful for you, Charlotte. This here is what spoke to my heart this morning >> "The older I get the more I realize that the body ages but the spirit does not. I think that is amazing."

  4. Yes! Our spirit is so young! I feel at least 30 years younger than I am! I was blessed by the link ups -especially "An Altar of Rememberance" (#22)! Thank you!

  5. Charlotte, I understand and agree with you on both points ... the getting up (LOL) and the fact that the spirit doesn't age. I've been going through Nancy Leigh DeMoss Wolgemuth's study "Adorned" about the Titus 2 mandate. It makes me realize more and more that we "older women" need to keep on or get on with it when it comes to sharing God's truth with those younger than ourselves. Blessings!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
