You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Well yesterday was my 81st birthday. I don't know how it got here so quickly. Didn't I just celebrate #80? My goodness the years do fly by. I guess we can still use a # for number. I know now it is called a hashtag. Everything changes but not everything changes for the better. I'm thinking right now about the tragedy in Las Vegas as well as the recent hurricanes that changed and took so many lives. There is so much confusion in the world and yet there is so much to be thankful for.

So now let's begin the linking for another week. Thank you for your continued participation each week.

  1. I visited a 96 year old friend yesterday, and she had the same commentary. The days and years do fly by. So important to fill them with good things and to live them well.

  2. I want to wish you a very happy birthday. I am 54 and am beginning to see that everything changes...and then it changes back...and then it changes again.

  3. Happy Birthday and wishes for many more. I am now 71 and I know from the time I hit 60, the years have flown. I often wonder how I fit so many things into my younger years because I wear out more easily anymore. How awesome to be celebrating 80 years. Hope your birthday was great and celebrated with family and friends.
