You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome Friends

Taxes. I don't like taxes. I especially don't like to file income tax. Even though we are retired and don't have to pay income tax, we still have to file and I don't like it. Several years ago I started doing them online with Turbo Tax. That is a good way to do it, but it is still stressful trying to get everything right. So, today was Turbo Tax day for me and I am tired. One of the wonderful things about heaven will be NO TAXES. Yay.
So something I do like is giving you this opportunity to share inspirational posts. It is time to begin a new weekend of sharing.  Thank you to all who participate.

Welcome Back

Was so sad to see what happened in London a few days ago. It is so hard for me to understand how any human being can do such horrible things to other human beings. What is even sadder is that everyone expects it to happen again and again with no end in sight. We wonder why God allows such things to go on. There certainly is no easy answer. It takes faith to believe that some day all these terrible things will end and there will be peace thanks to the Prince of Peace. In a few weeks we will be celebrating Easter. Of course we think about the resurrection at other times but more people are focused on it then than at any other time.

Now it is time to begin sharing again. Thank you to all who participate each week.

Hope Is Promised
Hope says, "I have something to look forward to today, tomorrow and forever, because I am perpetually secure in Christ." We who have believed on Christ for our salvation have a glorious future and a hope. And it's this hope that is promised to us in Scripture, hope in the person of Jesus Christ.
More than three hundred times in the New Testament alone, the Bible predicts the second coming of Christ. Just as surely as Jesus came to earth the first time, Scripture assures us he's coming again. In doing so, he will fulfill every last Old Testament prophecy and will establish the glorious new heaven and new earth. God has staked his character on the fact that his son will return again—God who cannot lie, who cannot indulge dishonesty.
The above quote doesn't mention angels, but I just finished reading the book and there is a lot of information about angels in it. I recommend the book if you are interested in this timely subject. There are so many misconceptions about angels. I think this book helps to understand who angels are, what is their mission, etc. It really makes you think.
And now, it's time to link. Thank you for your continued encouragement. I'm so glad this blog has been instrumental in sharing inspiration for so many years. It would not be possible without you who link here each week.

Jesus Is the Answer

Remember seeing bumper stickers saying "Jesus is the Answer". Some would see it and ask, "What is the question?"I maintain that Jesus is the answer to all of the problems of the world. The world just does not know it. I thought this song helps us understand it better.
Here we are into the month of March. March is probably my least favorite month of the year, but I'm happy to welcome it this year. The older I get the more I welcome each day as it arrives. And now it is time to begin linking again. Thank you to all who participate in any way.
