You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome Friends

The bad news just keeps coming. Students shot at a college in Oregon. A hurricane headed for the east coast of America. All those poor refugees pouring out of the middle east, and all of the people there being killed. If I didn't believe that God is still in control and that someday all the wrongs will be made right, I think I would be in total despair. I'm grateful for all the good that is still in the world in spite of all the evil. I'm glad there are still people like you who share here who lift up those who are down. So let's get another week of linking started.

  1. I agree, Charlotte. I keep reminding myself that HE is still in control, to keep my eyes on Him and my hand in His.

  2. It truly is a tragic world we live in and a huge reminder that we, as believers, need to be on our knees more than ever! Thanks for the linkup, Charlotte!

  3. A friend and I were talking about all this last night. She commented, "I don't know what's going on with our world," and we both then said together, "But we know WHO holds our world!" It is, indeed, so encouraging to remember that HE is in charge and we can keep our eyes on Him no matter what! Thanks for the sweet encouragement. Kaye -

  4. It is hard to see and hear all the tragic things going on, but like you I don't despair because I know God will one day make all wrongs right. He is the one who will give us strength and peace.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
