You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

If you spend much time on Facebook you have probably seen the video of Kathie Lee Gifford's tribute to her late husband. If you have not seen it, you really should click HERE  to go to my Charlotte's Weblog blog and watch it there. It is one of the most inspiring videos I've seen in a long time. It really points out the importance of faith in our lives. And not just any kind of faith. You can have faith in many things and many people. It is faith in Jesus Christ that makes all the difference.

As I was typing this (on Thursday night), the phone rang. I got up from the computer to answer it. It was a call to let us know that a man we had recently met at our gym passed away this morning. His son whom we had never met was the one who called. He wanted to let us know because we had been so kind to befriend and visit his dad and his mom.  We had visited him because he had been ill for quite some time and unable to go to the gym. He was 92 years old, so his death was not really a surprise, but it reminded us again that this life will soon be over and it is eternity that should be on our minds.

  1. I'm so glad that the media has shared Kathi Lee Giffors story and Franks testimony. It's rare to hear about any celebrities faith these days. Thank you for sharing your story too...

  2. Thanks, Charolotte, for the heads up. I've not seen the video.
    Blessings on your week.

  3. Thank you for keeping this linky open for so many years. I hope your week is filled with the joy of the Lord!

  4. I watched the video earlier this week and it moved me to tears. I am encouraged to throw my stone well (like David). Who knows how many people decided to give their life to Christ after hearing her speak with such love. Be blessed this week!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
