You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

My how the time flies. School is out again. Seems like it just started. I can remember thinking my mother was really old when she was talking about going to her 50 year high school reunion. That was many years ago, and now it has been 60 years since I graduated from high school. And this evening our daughter is coming over to take us to dinner. Doesn't seem that long ago that we were bringing her home from the hospital when she was born. Reminds me of the old hymn that starts out like this: "Time is filled with swift transition, naught of earth unmoved can stand. Build your hopes on things eternal. Hold to God's unchanging hand." The older I get the more I realize what good advice that is.

I know it seems like yesterday we were linking here but it was a whole week ago. Now it is time to do it again. Thank you again to all who come here faithfully each week to share. You are a blessing to me and to each other.

I'm glad you are enjoying the new linking format. If you haven't linked before and would like more information about it, you can click on linking info under the header picture for instructions.

  1. Hi Charlotte,
So glad you have included thumbnails to go along with our posts. I always wished you offered that. Nice to link up with you again. I can relate to your post. Time does fly by. My son is about to turn 19. I can remember bringing him home from the hospital too. Precious moments!

I posted the link on public speaking!

  2. Your post make me smile - I can remember when my hubby and I were old enough to be considered "Senior Citizens" and we went to check out the senior lunch but after one visited decided there were too many :"OLD" people there for us to return. By now we might think differently! :-)

    1. I know what you mean. Even now my hubby sometimes complains because there are so many old people there when we go to certain places. I remind him we are old too. LOL

  3. Hi Charlotte, I know just what you mean. My senior mom and I have been talking lately about how fast time flies as well! The older we get, the faster it goes. I read once that it was one of the signs that we are on God's eternal time clock. :) Have a blessed and beautiful week.

  4. It is holding His hand that sustains my hope. Thank you, dear Charlotte.♥

  5. Love the words from that old hymn. how true. Sorry two of my icons came up. I thought I only hit it once.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
