You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome Back to Spiritual Sundays

I hope everyone had a beautiful and blessed Easter. Thank you to everyone who shared with us during this very busy week. You're the best.

Last Sunday at our church we saw a very inspiring video about one of our members. Since this blog is all about sharing inspiration, I thought I would share the video with you. I couldn't figure out how to actually put the video here on this blog but here is the link that will take you to it.

I love hearing how God works in the lives of people. How he can turn terrible events in our lives into blessings. This is such a story. I hope you will click on the link and watch it. It will be well worth your time.

Everyone is welcome to share with us here on this blog. If you want to link a post on your blog here, just click on Linking Info under the header picture for instructions.

Happy Easter

I am reposting this Easter post I shared two years ago. I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend. Because He lives we can face tomorrow.

I really like this depiction of Jesus after his resurrection. I also like to imagine the wonder, awe, and excitement as the disciples learn that Jesus is alive.

I am reminded of the beautiful song with the words "Because He lives I can face tomorrow. Because He lives all fear is gone." I know He hold the future. What a blessed hope.

Easter has evolved into a fun Easter Bunny kind of day for many. Certainly we can have fun, but let's remember what Easter is really about and be thankful that He holds the future, and we don't need to fear if we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior. If this is not true for you, I pray you will give it much thought and prayer. Your future depends on it.

It's true. Many people were shouting "Hosannah" as Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey on that Sunday morning. They wanted to make Him their king. They even laid palm branches down for the animal to walk on. But how their attitude changed just a few days later as they were shouting "Crucify him." I'm sure that many of them just got caught up in the moment and went along with the crowd - probably both times. I think we should ask ourselves if we would have done the same. How about today? Do we go along with the crowd and agree with whatever is popular at the moment, or do we have real conviction about what is right and what is wrong. So many things in our culture today that most people formerly believed were either right or wrong have just completely turned around and what was once accepted is now rejected, and vise versa. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and continue to study His Word and never just go along with the crowd.

I hope everyone has a beautiful Palm Sunday. I'm sure many want to share with us their thoughts on this subject as well as other subjects. There is information about how to link if you have not done so before and wish to participate. Just click on Linking Info under the header picture for instructions.
Thanks to for the photo.

I took a photo of this map of all the places in the world that our visitors to Spiritual Sundays have come from since April of 2012. I'm glad I took the picture because in trying to change the map style on the bottom of this blog I somehow managed to lose all the information and now it is starting over. Check out the spinning globe at the bottom of the blog. So sad. Almost no hits on it now. Oh well, we will see who visits from this point on.

What I was trying to do was point out that what is shared here is actually shared around the world. It never fails to amaze me. So, when you link here you never know who in the world may be impacted by what you shared. So for people all over the world, I thank you for sharing each week.
