You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome Back

Spring is in the air. Flowers are blooming everywhere. Unfortunately weeds are springing up as well. Reminds me of life in general. Flowers are blooming but weeds are also growing. I hope there are more flowers than weeds in your life. God has promised to renew this earth at the end of time. Wow, I'm ready for it. Have you read Randy Alcorn's book called Heaven? I read it years ago and reread it again more recently. I think he accurately describes heaven and it is not at all what I grew up thinking about the subject. I highly recommend the book.

Time to share again. Thank you to so many for being so faithful in sharing with us each week. If you have not shared before and want information, just click on Linking Info under the header picture for instructions.

  1. Heaven's sounding better all the time.
    Blessings Sweet Charlotte,

  2. Love the ideas of flowers growing with weeds - it's just the way it is, I suppose. A gardener's work is never done. However - here on the east coast it's still WINTER! Gah - I need a few flowers about now.

  3. I would love to read that book - that's the second time I've heard about it! I think I will have to put it on my Christmas list :) I love thinking and talking about heaven!

  4. Have a blessed week, Charlotte!

  5. Thanks for the book recommendation, Charlotte. I will try to find it. And, thank you for always being here for us.♥

  6. I do have his book. Isn't it a great resource? Have you seen his book -50 Days of Heaven? Very encouraging. One other of his that I love (not counting all his fascinating fiction books I enjoy) is Ninety Days of God's Goodness: Daily Reflections That Shine Light on Personal Darkness - VERY much a blessing, especially during tough seasons of life. :)

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it.
