You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Prayer Changes Things

This past week we received three new prayer requests. I realized it had been a while since I had updated the Prayer Request page. So these three new ones were added, and I went down through the list and deleted some that I thought were so old that circumstances had changed since they were posted. I hope you will check out the page and pray for those listed. And if you see that someone was deleted who still needs our prayers that you will let me know and I will put them back on the list. Or if you see one that we no longer need to be praying for, I hope you will let me know that as well.

We now have 550 people who follow this blog. It was 549 for a long time so I was delighted to see that one more was added to make it 550. Welcome Gloria as our newest follower. Love that name - Gloria.

And thank you once again for the encouraging comments you make each week. I'm amazed that so many continue to share here each week. If you have not shared by linking here I hope you will consider doing so. Just click on Linking Info under the header picture for more information.

  1. Charlotte, thank you for pointing me toward the prayer request page. I spent some time this morning interceding for each request. It's wonderful that you are serving your brothers and sisters in this way. Prayer changes things! :)

  2. Thanks Charlotte for all you do with the prayer request page and linking up other Spiritual posts... Blessings!

  3. I was blessed by the story of how you and Ginger were inspired to begin the blog. Imagine how many people have been encouraged in their faith in the past 5 years...including me!! Bless you, Charlotte!

  4. Dear Charlotte, As I was reading your words this morning, and then reviewed the prayer requests, this scripture came to mind. "Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart." 2 Corinthians 4:1. I'm sure there are days when you feel discouraged. Maybe not today, but perhaps in the days ahead you will. I urge you to persevere. What you are doing here is important work. Love and hugs, Nancy

  5. Charlotte - It is so easy to link up & also read the other posts. Somehow I missed the prayer request page. Thank you for pointing it out.
    Have a blessed Sunday,

  6. Thank you for your faithfulness, dear Charlotte. I am kind of dragging today. Still dealing with a cold on day eight.

  7. Hi Charlotte....I've missed linking up here. Life's been so busy but I needed a pick up and like always, your awesome site delivers that. Hope you're having a great Sunday.

  8. Thank you, Charlotte, for your faithfulness to this place. I'm always delighted by the good posts when I have a chance to link up.

  9. Thank you Charlotte for opening up your lovely site each week and for the delicious "food" on the table.!
