You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Where did it go? The week went by so fast. Life goes by so fast. It is just a few days until Thanksgiving. If I was a turkey I would be getting worried about now. No, I guess not. I doubt seriously if turkeys worry. But how about you and me? Many times our concern turns into worry when we become overwhelmed with the cares of this life. When this happens I hope we can remember the scripture about the lilies of the field and the birds of the air. Our heavenly Father takes care of them and He has promised to take care of us too if we will put our trust in Him. God loved us so much that He sent His only son to come to earth, show us how to live and then die for us to pay the penalty for all our sins. How can we not love Him back and trust our lives into His care and service?

Now it's time to start linking again. I hope you visit as many links as you can not only on the weekend but in the following week. I'm always amazed at how many inspirational posts are shared each week. If you need information about how to participate, click Linking Info under the header picture.

A true witness delivers souls, But a deceitful witness speaks lies. - Proverbs 14:25 (NKJV)

  1. Great advice not to worry! God does say it a lot of times in his word for us to trust in him, that he knows our needs! I just need to get that into my thick skull! It is amazing how fast this year went by that we are thinking of Thankgiving in less than two weeks!

  2. Only this week, when answering a comment on my blog, I realized that when I doubt God and worry, I'm putting faith in my own abilities - not His.

Thank you Charlotte for hosting us each week.

  3. Thank you again for all the work you put into this wonderful place to share God's word!

  4. I often notice that, too, Charlotte, how time flies so swiftly! But we need not spend our times worrying, for God takes all our anxieties away when we immerse ourselves in the Word, give ourselves unto prayer and seek His face earnestly and steadfastly.

Thank you for these reminders. Have a blessed weekend!

    Thank you, Charlotte.

  9. Dear Charlotte, Thanks for the reminder to trust in God to provide exactly what we need through His infinite love and grace! That gives us the peace that passes all understanding.
    Love in Christ,
