I haven't posted a video in a while so I decided today I would share this one by Andrea Bocelli. I hope you will be blessed by watching it as I was. The first song I remember hearing him sing was back in 1998. The song was "Time to Say Goodbye". It was at the time when we had to make a trip to California to put my parents in a care facility. They had both developed severe dementia. As we were driving there we played that song over and over in the car. It was on a CD. The song was so beautiful but it was so sad.
On our way home, we stopped by to see a dear niece who was dying with cancer. It would be the last time we saw her alive. That was the saddest trip I have ever made. It definitely was a time to say goodbye. Anyway, since that time he has been one of my favorite singers.
Now it is time to link. Thank you for sharing with us.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world - 1 John 2:16 (KJV)
Bitter sweet memory. Funny how music seems to connect us with our feelings.
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me how we can connect songs and memories. Music brings such a sweet balm to our hearts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these heartfelt memories with us today. Grief is so difficult. We're praying for an acquaintance today who just lost a child.
