You alone are the Lord.
You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars.
You made the earth and the seas and everything in them.
You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome Back

It's Thursday night. I just remembered that I have not scheduled a post for this week. I think a few people must have forgotten to link with us last week as there were only 15 links. That's the least links in a long time. There is so much going on in our world these days that we can be distracted in so many ways. I'm glad I remembered to start this linking session. And I hope many will remember to share here this week.

The holidays are almost upon us. Everyone will be busy the next several weeks. Thank you for being here right now and reading this message. I hope you will be blessed by sharing and by reading what others have shared.

Welcome Back

I guess I thought everyone knew about the Silos at Waco, TX when I did the post last week but found out there are some of you out there who have never heard of the place. Sooooo I decided I would put a couple of pictures on here that my daughter shared on Facebook.

When asked how she liked it, she said it was amazing. Beautiful. "It's like Pottery Barn on steroids." Don't know about Pottery Barn? It's like Magnolia Market Place only now quite as good. LOL
There is also a bakery and a restaurant there. If you ever go anywhere near Waco, Texas, I think it would be worth your time to check it out.

So now that you're up to date on that subject, let's get to the subject at hand. It's time to begin sharing inspirational posts again. Thank you again to all who participate each week. And thank you for the sweet comments you make to me from time to time. You keep me inspired to continue doing this blog.

Welcome Back

My daughter lives in Phoenix, but she is in Waco, TX today. She will be in Austin tomorrow. The Austin part is business. The Waco part is fun. She will be visiting the Silos today (Friday). Who knew silos would ever be so popular? I'm just assuming everyone knows about the Silos. If you don't, just ask a friend. They will probably know. I remember seeing silos when I was growing up. They were just for storage of grain. Who knew? Seems like time changes everything. Well, not everything. God doesn't change. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. I'm so thankful for that reality.

And now it's time to begin linking again. Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate.

SHOWERS

We got record rain here in the desert a few days ago. There was flooding in some areas as there always is if it rains very much at all. I'm thankful we live on higher ground and it hasn't flooded here. Thinking about showers, I really enjoyed the rain showers we received. It reminded me of showers of blessings. We used to sing a song in church often about showers of blessings. We don't sing it anymore but I like to recall all the blessings the Lord has showered upon me in my lifetime. 82 years of showers of blessings. Sure there were a lot of bad times in that 82 years but sometimes even bad things can be blessings in disguise. So October 5 is my birthday. That's the day this is scheduled to post. I will be celebrating 82 years of great showers.
