You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Aunt Vivian

This week I want to pay tribute to a lovely lady who was my aunt for 81 years. She was only 7 years old when I was born. She lived to the age of 88. I think like Billy Graham she would say she is more alive now than she has ever been. And now she has no more pain or sorrow. God called her home last Saturday morning. My parents both came from large families so at one time I had a lot of aunts and uncles. Aunt Vivian was my last remaining aunt. My uncles are all gone as well. I will miss Vivian. She also became my sister-in-law when I married her husband's brother almost 60 years ago. Goodbye for awhile Vivian. RIP

Now it is time to begin linking again. Thank you for your steadfast encouragement.

  1. So sorry for your loss.
We also lost a dear sweet lady in our community this past week. She was in her nineties and such a gift to us all.
We have so much to be thankful for.

  4. Please accept my deepest condolences. My dad shares his sense of loss as he outlives family and friends. May you be comforted and know God's peace during this painful time.

  5. Sounds like you had a close relationship. So sad to lose anyone because it seems such an empty space left in the world. Sorry for your loss.
