You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome Back

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. - 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 (KJV)

I love the fact that Linky Tools puts a different scripture on each post and it even changes every time you log onto Spiritual Sundays. I just now logged in and saw the above scripture. Next time I look it will be a different one. They are all good, of course, for they are all from the Word of God. I just wanted to center in on the one above. When I get discouraged with what is going on in this world, which is often, this promise makes me realize that everything here on earth is just temporary and what a glorious future awaits the faithful Christian. I hope everyone who reads this will be encouraged as I am.

Now let the linking begin.
Blessings,

  2. I do love this passage of Scripture! It always reminds me a song called Steppin' on the Clouds and 1 Thessalonians 4:17 "After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."
