You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

WELCOME

It is that time again. Time to begin another weekend of linking. This time I am asking for your prayers. For several years I have had problems with one of my knees and recently the other knee has really been hurting. I was told by my doctor about 10 years ago that I would eventually need knee replacement. I have really really not wanted to do that. I know a lot of people have had it done and it turned out great but I have also heard of some that didn't do so well. Anyway, I just wanted you all to know and to pray for me.

  1. Certainly, I will be praying for you, Charolotte, as you make this important decision about surgery. I have a friend who is now 86, and she had knee replacement surgery at 85 and came through it beautifully! She is pain free and very mobile! I do hope that you will keep us posted on your progress.

    1. Thank you. This is encouraging, Michele. I thought 80 might be too old. I will be 80 in a few days.

  2. I pray that you will get that surgery and that all goes well. I had hip replacement five years ago and it went well. I wish I'd had it sooner. Aren't we glad they have such wonderful advances in such things?

I've been pondering old age this week. Stop by Gail-Friends and find out what the Good Book says about it.

Thanks for being our hostess. Blessings to you and yours and have a good week.

    1. Thanks for the encouraging words, Gail. I think hip replacement would be worse than knee replacement. Glad you got along so well.
