You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

WELCOME BACK

I've mentioned this before, but it still amazes me how quickly a week goes by. Here it is another weekend. Where did all those days go? This will be a big weekend in America. If you live somewhere else, you may not even know that some people here consider it the biggest weekend of the year. SUPER BOWL. This year it is in Arizona, not very far from where I live. There is also a big golf tournament going on here now too. Lots of people do get carried away with sports. I can't help but wish everyone was that enthusiastic about spiritual things.

An old friend who was a member of our church over 45 years ago is having quadruple heart bypass surgery on Monday. We had lost contact with the family through the years, but connected again on Facebook. Two of his daughters were in my Sunday School class so many years ago. Just happens that he and I have the same birthday - same day and even the same year. They have requested prayer and I am requesting that you join me in prayer too.

Welcome

If you came to this blog a few days ago and saw the notice that the Linky Tools subscription had expired and the links were all gone, I'm sorry. I was unaware the subscription was expiring and was quite surprised when I came here and got that message. I immediately resubscribed so now we have our links back. I hope it was not an inconvenience for you.

Now it is time to link again. I'm grateful to everyone who faithfully links with us here and I'm also grateful for all who take the opportunity to read what others have shared. You're the best.

Welcome

Thank you to everyone who went to the Spiritual Sundays Facebook page last week. We had several more "likes" there. If you missed it last week, you can click HERE to go there now. Of course you can always click on the link on the sidebar too.

Linking on Spiritual Sundays was down for two or three weeks, but was up again last week. I guess everyone is getting settled back into a routine after the holidays. A big "thank you" again to everyone who joins us here whether it is to read what others have shared or to share something on your own blog. If you need information on how to link, click on Linking Info under the header picture. Everyone is welcome.

Sharing Inspirational Posts

Sharing Inspirational Posts is the name of the Spiritual Sundays Facebook page. Do you remember several weeks ago I mentioned that we had 98 "likes" on that page? Well, we made it to 100. Esther Joy Hunter had that privilege. Michelle Anderson was number 99. Since then six more people have gone there and "liked" it. If you haven't visited that Facebook page, I hope you will click on the link on the sidebar and go there, or you can go there by clicking right HERE. More "likes" would be nice. How about we shoot for 200? I'm feeling optimistic today.

I don't need to remind you that we need to continue to pray for our chaotic world and especially those people in France who were affected by the latest terror attack.

Time to start linking again. If you need instructions, just click on Linking Info under the header picture. Thank you for your continued support of Spiritual Sundays.

WELCOME

I love new years. It always seems like a good time to look ahead and think about the possibilities the next 365 days will bring. Make resolutions? No, I quit doing that years ago. I know many still do though and I think it is a good thing. I pray 2015 will be a good year for all of you. I know it will bring lots of joy, but also a lot of sorrow and problems. Life is just like that. Maybe coming here each week and sharing will help. It is good to encourage one another. We had the fewest links last week that we have had since we first started over 6 years ago. I'm confident that as everyone gets back "in the groove," that linking will pick up.
