You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

Welcome

Thanksgiving is over. Black Friday has come and gone. Cyber Monday has come and gone. Now we are on the countdown to Christmas. We are busy with many things, and these are such troublesome times. Just been watching protesters marching in many different cities. "No justice, no peace," is one of the chants we hear. I can't help but believe that most of the people out there in the streets are just doing it because they want to be part of the crowd, and what results is a party atmosphere. How sad it is that most do not realize that the only real peace is to be found in Jesus Christ.

Some have wondered about my new glasses. It has been two weeks now. The lady told me sometimes it takes as long as two weeks for eyes to adjust. I'm happy to say that my eyes have adjusted almost completely. A week ago I was pretty skeptical that they would ever be OK but now I believe they will be. It is amazing how eyes can adjust. It is amazing how people can adjust. I'm glad God made us that way.

Thank you for coming back here week after week to share and be blessed by what others have shared.  If you are new to this blog and need more information, just click on Linking Info under the header picture.

  3. So glad you are doing well with your glasses now. I agree with you about the protests, Charlotte. I know you join me in covering these things in prayer, because I think it is about to cause an attack on our Constitution - people (media) saying the grand jury process in the Constitution is outdated. Dangerous time in history.
    Blessings,

  4. I am so happy your eyes have adjusted. My first pair of bi-focal glasses took time to adjust. Now after cataract surgery, they adjust again and are just fine. Thanks for hosting Charlotte.
