Welcome

Welcome back everyone. This will be a busy weekend for those of us in the U.S. as it is Memorial Day weekend. Memorial Day has always been special to me for many reasons. One of them is that I was baptized on Memorial Day in 1948. I was 11 years old. There have been lots of ups and downs since that time. Many things happened that I didn't want to happen and many things that I wanted to happen did not. I can look back over those 66 years and realize that God has been with me all the way and everything that happened or didn't happen turned out for my good. I am eternally grateful.

Although many didn't comment about the new format for linking, the ones I did get were positive. I do think it makes it more interesting so I've decided to keep doing it this way at least for awhile. I don't know if all computers work this way, but when I put my mouse over the picture for the link it shows the blog linked to it. I like that feature too.

If you have not linked before and would like more information about it, you can just click on "you're next" and it will take you to a form to fill out that is pretty self explanatory. If you wish, you can click on Linking Info under the header picture on this blog and you will see a form like the one you will need to fill out. It really is very simple.

  3. Blessings on your baptism day anniversary, Charlotte. I, too, can say the good as well as the bad have drawn me closer to Him and taught me lessons. Hope you have a nice Memorial Day weekend, and thanks again for all you do here to bless others.

  6. Thank you for hosting dear Charlotte. My grandmother would take me to the cemetery to place flowers on my uncles grave each memorial day. I also lost a cousin in WW2 - Lost at sea. We honor our military and our gone before us loved ones on this day!

  7. I really like the new format, Charlotte.

How wonderful that Memorial Day also holds a spiritual meaning for you, too. And yes, it is amazing when we look back at our lives and see how God has been there every step of the way. Why do we (me) ever doubt Him?

Remembering today all those who have served, or are serving, our country. And, ever grateful to The One who made us truly free.

    GOD BLESS!
