You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

WELCOME

I hope everyone is having a good summer. Oh yes, I remember, some of you live in places where it is not summer now. Whatever the season, I hope you are being blessed. There are many seasons in a person's life. When you reach 76 which is my age, you have experienced many seasons of life. The older I get the more I realize the truth in the scripture that says all things work together for good for them that love the Lord. I can look back and see how true that has been in my life. Certainly not all things have been good, but I am amazed at the way seemingly impossible situations are resolved in a seemingly miraculous way. I think it is probably not "seemingly miraculous" but actually miraculous. God certainly answers prayers - not always in the way we think He will but in the way He knows is best. I'm so grateful for that.

Now - time to link once again. Didn't we just do this yesterday? Time goes by so quickly. If you need information about how to link, you can click on Linking Info under the header picture for instructions.

  2. I am also so grateful for the way that God answers prayers. I'm also glad that He listens to us in the first place!!

Yes, the older I get, the more I realize that God truly is good, all the time - even during those times when I don't think He is, He is. It's just that so often my perspective is skewed. Focusing on Jesus is the sure way to always remember the goodness of God.

    GOD BLESS!

  3. Dear Charlotte
It amazes me always how the greatest miracles are done so subtly that we don't even see it happening. Somehow we just realize the results!

  4. Thank you so much, Charlotte, for hosting!I love your devotion for today-- After 52 years, I can see many times where God worked all things for my good. And those times I see just add to the evidence of His word that He can be trusted, so even when I CAN'T see how a situation is working for my good, I can trust that eventually it WILL!

  5. I certainly don't think of you being 76 years old. I love that you continue to learn and grow and enjoy technology. You have so much to share with others and I'm so glad to know you.

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

  7. I know what you mean, Charlotte. Their are so many times I can think back and know God was carrying me. Now I try to tank him as each day progresses. Sometimes I say "I know that was you, God."

  8. I am so glad that God does not change, only we do a bit in each season of life. We can still be an instrument used in his service, no matter what our age. My post today, God used a young maid, and our pastor urged us to become Unexpected prophets in our world and to speak the truth. Thanks for hosting my sweet lady!
