You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you. ~Nehemiah 9:6

WELCOME BACK

We in America will be celebrating Independence Day on July 4th. God has blessed our country so much for so many years. Sad to say our government is getting farther and farther away from our founding principles. There are some who would take God out of everything in our land. They don't want to see any crosses or Ten Commandments in public places. Christmas carols, decorations, and anything having to do with Christmas has been banned in our public schools. The name of God is taboo. Prayer has been banned in the classroom and at graduation ceremonies. And those are just some of the changes I've seen in my lifetime. I am seriously wondering how much longer God will continue to bless America. And the reason for all of this is that someone might get their feelings hurt or feel left out. How do you suppose God feels? Does He feel "left out". As we celebrate Independence Day this year, I hope we will apologize to God for what our country has become and ask Him to heal our land.

Thank you to everyone who has been so faithful in sharing with us each week. If you would like to share and would like more information, just click on Linking Info under the header picture.

  1. Yup, Charlotte - I agree.

Lately I've been thinking about the things that happened when the Israelites wandered away from God. I think we take the patience of God too lightly. America is a country that God has blessed tremendously, and as the Scripture says...to whom much is given, much is expected.

May our country, and each of us as individuals, wake up and follow the God who can heal us.

    GOD BLESS!

  2. I agree with you, Charlotte, and join you in prayer for personal as well as national repentence. We have all strayed far from what G-d intended.

    Blessings to you and yours,
    Gail

  5. We celebrate Freedom here in our USA, and freedom in Christ. Our pastor spoke today about we are free to love and serve but not free to be rebellions and unkind.
    I love your beautiful site.
