WELCOME

I mentioned before that the scripture at the bottom of the post, after the links, is put there by Linky Tools and it changes automatically each time someone comes to this blog. Several have commented on the scripture and how meaningful it was to them. I just wanted you to know that if you have commented on a particular scripture and then when you came back there was a different one that I didn't change it. It changed automatically. I don't even know which scriptures will appear. They are always good though. They would have to be good. After all, they are all from the Bible. I really appreciate this feature. I enjoy reading the scripture each time I come back and that is many many many times each week.

You will notice above that Linky has started a "follower" thing. Even if you are a Google friend connect follower, you might want to follow on Linky also.

Valentine's Day is coming up in a few days so I want to take this opportunity to wish each of you a Happy Valentine's Day.

As I state each week, everyone is welcome to share a spiritual/ inspirational post with us on Spiritual Sundays. Just click on Linking Info under the header picture for more information.

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. - Psalm 51:6 (KJV)

  1. "Linky" is a great tool. I love how the creator of it (Brent) isn't shy about his faith! It is one of the reasons I chose the tool on my blog as well! Since "Friend Connect" won't be available after March 1 on NON-Google blogs, I put the new Linky Follower tool on my blog, too. You also might want to try adding one for Google Plus. (That's the reason they are taking away Friend Connect -- they want to streamline things through Google Plus). Anyway, I opened a Google + account and so far so good! I figure the more avenues to get God's word out there the better! Blessings to you Charlotte and thank you so much for hosting Spiritual Sundays!! It is a great ministry! Blessings, Joan

  3. I was linking up our "Strength Lifted Up" post and by mistake put the Soup's on Link there. I don't know how to remove it. Sorry please feel free to take it off. I have linked the correct one up now.

  7. Hi Charlotte! This is Kathy from The Writer's Reverie linking up today with my husband's NEW blog "The Sheep's Pen"! His story of how the Lord birthed it in his heart is his opening post - sharing with Spiritual Sundays this week. He will be posting with you weekly on this "journey" and I am so blessed to be able to assist him in getting started. Eventually, he will be doing more of his own typing, but I am secretary to him to get him off the ground. Hope you're blessed - and I am thrilled that he has joined me here in Blogland! I know the Lord will bless him with many precious new friends.

    Joy to you!
    Kathy - and Ed!

P.S. With my work schedule I am not able to post as often as last year when I started. I am hoping to link-in with you more here when the school year ends! Visit me, too, at www.thewritersreverie.blogspot.com

    1. Good for you Kathy, My wife Hazel, helps me with my blog. I type and send to her and she edits, finds a picture on photobucket and does the post for me. Your are a blessing to Ed and I know he appreciates your assistance.

    2. Hi Kathy. I just visited your husband's blog. He really got off to a great start. I know what you mean about the secretary thing. My husband started blogging way before I did but now many times I'm his secretary and help him with graphics, etc.
Thanks to both you and Ed for sharing with us.

  9. Love the picture of the tulip with the verse! It's supposed to get really cold here tonight, and the tulip is a nice promise that spring is coming!

  13. Thank you for hosting each week. I don't get many comments on Sundays but that's ok, if I have touched one person with God's words, that's good enough for me! Have a wonderful Sunday and a Happy Valentines day!
PS, I never noticed that the verse changed each time. LOL, I guess I read and it and never looked again.

  16. Thank you Charlotte, and I did enjoy the verse at the end about honoring your mother when she is old! I go today to visit her in the care home where she resides at age 100.
