WELCOME BACK

Valentine's Day is over and President's Day is almost here. Thinking of President's Day reminds me how grateful I am to live in America. I sometimes forget (temporarily) that many people who come here to share and be blessed are from other countries other than this one. I'm so glad the internet covers the whole world and is not just confined to this one continent and this one country. I guess Valentine's Day is pretty much universal. I appreciate each one of you who shared you "heart" with us last week and every week.

I also want to say "thank-you" to all who follow this blog. Seems like things on the computer are always changing. You will notice that besides Google friends followers, we also have facebook followers, and now Linky Tools also provides a place to become a "follower". If you are new to this blog and would like to participate, please read the instructions by clicking Linking Info under the header picture.

  1. Charlotte, thank you again for giving us all an opportunity to share, as well as visiting and encouraging each one of us. That takes a big time investment on your part. Also, give my regards and thanks to Ginger for her part in this in the past!

    Blessings!

  2. Indeed, the Internet has "shrunk" the world. Now, no nation or people is isolated and cannot be reached by the Gospel. I thinks that's just great!

    Have a blessed weekend!

  4. Through blogging I have enjoyed meeting Christian sisters from all over the world. It's beautiful too see the hand of God moving across the nations, calling each of us to Him.

As for Valentines Day, in Brazil the Day of Love is celebrated in early June, so you have through APRIL for you and your readers to join the Valentine Project and help us send Valentines to children in our care in Brazil. You can read about it on my blog and here on the Hope Unlimited for Children blog: http://hopeunlimitedforchildren.blogspot.com/2012/01/valentines-2012.html

  9. Good Sunday morning, dear Charlotte. My prayers for another week of blessings to you and all.

I so agree with you about the internet. It has, in so many ways, proved to be a blessing to many. It has allowed those separated by miles and cultures to reach out and realize all that we have in common. You can feel the love. Hopefully, we are all using it to share God's world and for steps toward peace.

  10. Hi y'all. For awhile, we thought (the grandkids HOPED) we'd be having a mega snow day here and might not even make it to church. But once again, during this REALLY odd pair of weather years, they are snow sad for NO snow :)

So I'm headed out the door for church soon, but wanted to pop in and say HAPPY SUNDAY first. Have a blessed and beautiful week!

  12. Being an American is a blessing indeed. Now more than ever we need to pray for our leaders and for our country. 2 Chronicles 7:14
