Thanksgiving is over. Black Friday has come and gone. Cyber Monday has come and gone. Now we are on the countdown to Christmas. We are busy with many things, and these are such troublesome times. Just been watching protesters marching in many different cities. "No justice, no peace," is one of the chants we hear. I can't help but believe that most of the people out there in the streets are just doing it because they want to be part of the crowd, and what results is a party atmosphere. How sad it is that most do not realize that the only real peace is to be found in Jesus Christ.
Some have wondered about my new glasses. It has been two weeks now. The lady told me sometimes it takes as long as two weeks for eyes to adjust. I'm happy to say that my eyes have adjusted almost completely. A week ago I was pretty skeptical that they would ever be OK but now I believe they will be. It is amazing how eyes can adjust. It is amazing how people can adjust. I'm glad God made us that way.
Thank you for coming back here week after week to share and be blessed by what others have shared. If you are new to this blog and need more information, just click on Linking Info under the header picture.
I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I know this is an American holiday but I have a feeling it has "caught on" in other countries and I know some other countries have an equivalent of our Thanksgiving. We had Thanksgiving at our daughter's house this year. She is a terrific cook and, as usual, I ate way too much. I am thankful every day for so many things. I'm thankful that you continue to encourage me for hosting this weekly sharing time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
